Important notice for Dame Mary Quant

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Dame Mary Quant has passed away.

Mary Quant was the founder of the Mary Quant business. Mary was a unique trailblazer who made an indelible mark on fashion. In the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List of 2015 she was made a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. In January of this year she was appointed to the Order of the Companions of Honour. Her legacy will live on through Mary Quant products and her huge contribution to the global fashion industry.

All members of staff at Mary Quant Group are deeply saddened and pass on their condolences to Mary’s family and friends.

マリー・クヮント氏は、マリークヮントブランドの創設者でした。マリーは、ファッション界で忘れることが出来ない功績を遺した、素晴らしい先駆者でした。2015年エリザベス2世女王より英国王室第二等勲章デイムの称号を授与されました。今年1月には、コンパニオンズ・オブ・オナー勲章を受章しています。彼女の遺産は、マリークヮントの商品および世界的なファッション界への絶大な貢献として、今後も生き続ける事でしょう。
